Ketapang Regency has a large potential for chicken farming, but the feeding process is still manual. The manufacture of pellet-making machines can increase efficiency and productivity. This machine can process raw materials into pellets that are easily digestible by livestock. The purpose of making pellet-making machines is to increase the efficiency and productivity of chicken farming by producing high-quality feed that is easy to digest, as well as saving time and labor. The manufacture of pellet-making machines is done through design, planning, material selection, assembly, testing, and evaluation to ensure optimal performance and produce high-quality pellets. The pellet-making machine is made with a screw press system using a ¼ HP electric motor, has dimensions of 60x50x45 cm, and a capacity of 10 kg/hour.
