Abstrak

Briquettes are an environmentally friendly and efficient alternative energy source, particularly effective in reducing dependence on fossil fuels. This study aims to design and manufacture a briquette printing machine that enhances production efficiency and output quality. The machine is designed with a mechanical system powered by an internal combustion engine, featuring a simple yet sturdy construction that is easy to operate and maintain, especially by small- to medium-scale industry players.The design method includes user needs analysis, technical calculations, material selection, and performance testing. Trials were conducted using biomass raw materials such as rice husks and sawdust, mixed with natural binders. The test results indicate that the machine is capable of producing briquettes at an average rate of 150 briquettes per hour, with good density levels that meet standards for both domestic use and small-scale industry.In conclusion, the briquette printing machine developed in this final project has proven effective in improving both the productivity and quality of briquettes, and it shows strong potential for wider application in renewable biomass-based energy development.
