Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Laporan Keuangan Sederhana Untuk UMKM Industri Alumunium

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is a form of active participation of academics in the community by providing knowledge and skills about financial reporting. The implementation of this socialization and training will be able to overcome the problems that occur in terms of understanding the recording of financial statements. The initial target of community service activities in conducting socialization and training was to bring in the MSME of the Aluminum Industry in Giwangan Village, Kec. Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta City. The implementation method uses data collection methods with direct observation and approaches with MSME actors. From the results of questions and answers before the holding of socialization and training, there were problems with the absence of human resources and lack of knowledge of financial reports. MSME actors stated that financial reporting is a difficult science and can only be learned by students and people who go to high school. Facing these obstacles, Abdimas carried out socialization activities and training on simple financial reports. The results of this community service activity show that there is an increase in the ability and interest of MSME actors in recording financial statements properly.
