PUBLICATION POLICY
The Indonesian Journal of Vocational Mechanical Engineering (INJECTION) acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore determines the policy following a specific action (a statement) in an article submitted for publication in the Indonesian Journal of Vocational Mechanical Engineering Journal (INJECTION).
Definition:
Plagiarism is an act intentionally or unintentionally in obtaining or trying to obtain credit or value for scientific work, by quoting part or all of the work and/or scientific work of another party that is recognized as scientific work, without stating the source accurately and adequately.
For that, then: Articles must be original, unpublished, and not pending publication elsewhere.
The material is taken verbally from another source which is identified so that it differs from the original text. If plagiarism is identified, then the Editor in Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will take action according to the level of plagiarism detected, with the following:
Plagiarism Rate
1. Plagiarize short sentences from other articles without mentioning the source. Action: The author was given warnings and requests to change text and cite properly.
2. Plagiarizes most of the other articles without proper citations and not citing sources. Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in the INJECTION and the author may be penalized for not being allowed to be published in the Indonesian Journal of Vocational Mechanical Engineering (INJECTION).
All article authors are responsible for the content of articles submitted because they are all statements of The Statement of Ethics Publication in the Indonesian Journal of Vocational Mechanical Engineering (INJECTION). If the article is classified as plagiarism, all authors will be subject to the same action.
If the author is proven to submit the manuscript to the Indonesian Journal of Vocational Mechanical Engineering (INJECTION) by jointly sending it to other journals, and overlaps are found during the reviewer process or after publication, then the action is given according to point 2 above.
If plagiarism is found outside the rules above, the editor of the Indonesian Journal of Vocational Mechanical Engineering (INJECTION) has the right to take action according to the policies of the editor team.
